ABOUT THE BUILD
The Gundam RX-78 Gaming PC was assembled with the original ASUSxGundam components, many of which were rare and difficult to acquire, particularly the graphics card. The computer's design was based on the Gundam RX-78 mobile suit and featured mostly a white and silver color scheme, which was complemented by the white Corsair Dominator memory sticks and CPU cooler. The ARCTIC Freezer II was chosen for its high quality and large size/cooling capabilities.The 420mm model was essentially the "bigger is better" mentality. The cooler's covers were removed and painted to match the mobile suit's accent colors, and the original fans were replaced with Lan Li Uni fans for improved cable management and ease of use when syncing with the Lian Li Striimmers. Additionally, a custom lighting setup was implemented to allow the mobile suit's colors to phase through, creating a simple yet impressive light show. Unfortunately, there are no available photographs of this setup.
